LUKA International Foundation is happy to announce that we have been granted NGO status in the Republic of Zambia! 

  • What is an NGO?  We are glad you asked! NGO is short for non-governmental organization. 

  • Why is it important?  It is a recognition by the government of Zambia of our work to help the people of their country in a variety of ways.

  • What is the benefit of being registered as an NGO in Zambia?  It helps LUKA in our fundraising efforts so that we can increase the number people that we are able to help in Zambia.  We can do more things like sponsor additional community schools, help more students attend college, and provide better oppotunities for orphans and vulnerable children.
